 The Sublime Ivy!
Modelled after the David Britton-assembled The Lives and Times of Captain Beefheart (Babylon Books, 1977) this is a fruity compilation of articles on the last great Rock'n'Roll band. Most of this stuff would have never seen the light of day after its initial publication, so it's a great read for the die-hard Cramps fan. Plus there's Kris Guidio artwork into the bargain (see Sinister Legends for more Guidio/Cramps). Along with Lindsay Huttons's magazine The Next Big Thing, this is essential reading for Cramps fans; how great this band is, how fucking disgraceful that they are not regarded today as a superior Rock'n'Roll band (only the Pistols were better).

• See the Orders page for purchase details.

• See also: The Cramps at the Haçienda, a DVD of the band at their peak in 1984.
